Most church websites go stale because someone has to update them by hand. I build them so they do that work themselves.

    § 01 // DEFINITION

    Definition

SnapPages is the website builder inside the Subsplash platform. It pulls in everything else Subsplash already does for your church: your sermons, your events, your giving, your app content. Because those pieces are already connected, a SnapPages site can show them without anyone copying and pasting. It is also simple enough that a staff member or volunteer can keep it updated without knowing how to code. For teams that want more, it accepts custom code blocks and external code, so the ceiling is higher than most people realize. ReedVerde, founded by Reed Verdesoto, has built hundreds of SnapPages websites for churches and ministries since 2019.

    § 02 // WHY_IT_WORKS

    Why It Works

    Why SnapPages Works for Churches

Most church websites are built on tools that need a designer. Something breaks, or a page needs a new photo, and now you are waiting on the one person who knows how it works. If that person leaves, the site starts to drift.

SnapPages is different. It is built for the person who has ten other jobs at the church. Changing a page takes a few minutes and does not require any special training. That matters more than it sounds, because a website only stays useful if the people responsible for it can actually use it.

It is also not limited. SnapPages supports custom code blocks and outside code, so when a church needs something the standard tools do not cover, there is room to build it. Simple by default, open when you need it.

    § 03 // THE_REAL_PROBLEM

    The Real Problem

Websites Go Stale Because Updating Them Is Work

I worked with a church that printed a paper bulletin every week. A guy named Keith put it together. Keith did a good job. But the bulletin only existed because Keith made it exist, week after week, by hand.

Most church websites work the same way. There is a Keith somewhere, and the site is current right up until the week Keith gets busy. Then the events page shows something from two months ago, and a first-time visitor decides the church is not paying attention.

The fix is not asking Keith to try harder. The fix is building the site so it does not need him for the routine parts.

    § 04 // HOW_I_BUILD

    The Approach

    Built to Update Itself

When I design a SnapPages site, the goal is that most of it stays current without anyone touching it.

    01

    Events That Post Themselves

Your calendar feeds the website. Add an event once in Subsplash and it shows up on the site, the app, and anywhere else it belongs. No second entry, no forgetting.

    02

    Sermons On Arrival

New messages appear the moment they publish. Your media page is never behind, because nobody has to remember to update it.

    03

    Widgets Over Static Pages

Wherever a page could pull live content instead of holding a frozen copy, it pulls live content. Fewer places to go out of date.

    04

    Custom Code Where It Helps

SnapPages takes custom code blocks and external code. When the built-in tools stop short of what a church needs, that is the door.

    05

    Built for Your Actual Team

The parts that do need a human are designed for whoever is really going to do them, not for a designer who is not on staff.

    06

    Evergreen by Default

The site should be accurate on a Tuesday in February when nobody has looked at it in three weeks. That is the whole test.

    § 05 // WHAT_I_DO

    Scope of Work

    What a SnapPages Build Includes

    01

Full SnapPages website design and build, from structure to launch.

    02

Redesigns of existing SnapPages sites that grew without a plan.

    03

Page hierarchy and navigation that makes sense to a first-time visitor.

    04

Live event, sermon, and media integration so content stays current on its own.

    05

Custom code blocks and external integrations where the standard tools stop short.

    06

Training for your team so the parts that need a person are easy to handle.

    07

Implementation by ReedVerde, the footer credit on church sites across the country.
