Making images stand out matters. But background images are the wrong tool inside SnapPages, because they crop against the section's aspect ratio and that ratio shifts every time a device size changes. What looked perfect on desktop chops the graphic's face off on a phone.
Use an Image Block instead. An Image Block preserves the image's own aspect ratio, so the whole graphic renders regardless of screen size. What you upload is what members see, edge to edge.
The one adjustment: remove the padding around the block. By default an Image Block sits inside a section with margin on the left, right, top, and bottom. That leaves visible gutters around your image. Open the section settings, zero out the padding on all four sides, and the image spans full width the way it was meant to.
This one change is the difference between images that look designed and images that look accidental. Use it anywhere a hero, banner, or feature graphic needs to feel intentional.
