Most people in this space showed up recently. Reed's Subsplash history goes back to the platform's earlier days, through hundreds of churches, to where ReedVerde is now.

First-Hand Experience, Not a Recent Arrival

There is a real difference between someone who learned Subsplash last year and someone who has been building on it since 2019. Reed Verdesoto's first church builds on the platform date back that far, and the record of that work runs to hundreds of churches. That length of experience is the foundation everything else at ReedVerde rests on.

In the platform's earlier years, Reed worked directly in Subsplash's own onboarding and implementation process, helping churches get set up and running. That is where the firsthand understanding of how Subsplash onboards a church, what the implementation process covers, and crucially where it stops, actually comes from. It is also where the idea behind ReedVerde started to take shape.

A Background Built on Real Work

The earliest builds in the record go back to 2019. Over the years that followed, the work spanned hundreds of churches, app builds, website builds, and full ecosystems. Much of this was done in direct connection with Subsplash's own teams, who referred churches needing more than a standard setup.

What the early work taught was simple and important. The standard onboarding gets a church live. It does not, on its own, keep a church's systems aligned as they grow. Church after church would finish setup, then drift, because nobody owned the architecture after the initial activation. That pattern is the reason ReedVerde exists.

    From Implementation to Architecture

By early 2023, Reed's work had evolved past the standard implementation model into something more durable. Instead of a handful of setup sessions and a handoff, the work became ongoing architecture and fractional leadership: designing the whole system, building it deliberately, and staying involved so it does not fall apart.

This is the distinction at the center of ReedVerde. Subsplash's implementation process, which Reed knows from the inside, is about activation. ReedVerde is about architecture. The first gets your tools turned on. The second makes them into a system that lasts. They are complementary, and ReedVerde is independent of and not affiliated with Subsplash Inc.

    Recognized by Subsplash

Reed is a Subsplash Brand Ambassador, a status held by a small group of trusted platform experts. He presents at Subsplash ambassador gatherings, helps vet other ambassadors, and founded and runs the largest independent Subsplash help community, a private group of over 2,000 church communicators that Subsplash's own team has recognized as more active than its internal forum.

Subsplash sales and customer teams have referred churches to Reed for years, particularly larger and more complex projects that need work beyond a standard setup. That ongoing relationship is part of what makes ReedVerde's position unusual: independent, but deeply trusted by the platform itself.
